Haven't had a lot of sales. So, I'm pushing my skills to the limit in my studio. I'm working on more technically demanding designs that require a lot of hours and patience. I'm also using less metal. The results are so rewarding as I see my skills improving through experimentation and lots of failures.
A friend in Tennessee keeps sending me boxes of stones. So, I took one of them, a white Australian opal, and recut it into a teardrop shape. I added one of her rare orange zircons to the look and set everything in sterling silver. Chain is decorated with Sleeping Beauty turquoise beads. I sent this back to her and she was overjoyed.
Thank you Margo.
