About the artist: Betsy has been a silversmith for 17 years, studying with notable instructors like Kate Wolf, Tom Herman and Bill Whitehead. Before that, she was a copy editor and reporter for Denver's major daily newspapers. Living in the mineral richness of Colorado, she became an avid rock hunter and wrote for Lapidary Journal Jewelry Artist for 10 years. She does some stone cutting in her home. 

These days, she is lives in Portland, OR, working out of a studio at ActivSpace Lovejoy.
