Silversmith Betsy Lehndorff was a journalist in Colorado, writing for The Denver Post and later The Rocky Mountain News. Her most challenging work was as a homicide reporter. She also wrote about homes & gardens, and once held a dust bunny contest for readers. When The Rocky folded in 2008, she began learning silversmithing, melting down all of her mother-in-law's sterling silver flatware to learn the craft.
She wrote for Lapidary Journal Jewelry Artist for 10 years.
Today, she is lives in Portland, OR, working out of a studio at ActivSpace Lovejoy.
She is a member of the Creative Metal Arts Guild.
